Deep purple-black; pulls free from the hollow centre. Strongly flavoured. Picks over about two weeks — check every couple of days.

A surprised bear is a scared angry bear.
Always pack spray when exploring new forest.
Its hard to pinpoint where these all are exactly, but basically the north end of the meadow.
Sectiona nearby were recently clearcut, so there's a ton of scrap trimmings to take as well for firewood and craft or whatever you're into, I wont judge. Lots of Ironwood staves for carving or tools if youre into that.
