🔍 When is it ripe?
Ripe when fully coloured (white, red, or black by species) and falls at a touch. Spread a sheet and shake the branches. Extremely perishable — process or eat immediately.
It is in someone's yard, however if you ask they generally quite happy to let you pick your full and then some.
