🔍 When is it ripe?
The green husk splits into four sections and turns brown when ripe. Shake branches or wait for fall. Cure in a cool, dry place for 2–3 weeks. Kernels should be full and not shrivelled.
Go in the alley way between S 12th and S 13th Street. Behind 710 S 13th (yellow house) there is a GIANT pecan tree that produces massive amounts of Pecans around October-November. You can access all you need from the alley way.
