🔍 When is it ripe?
Orange dates in large hanging clusters. Edible when fully orange and soft. Very sweet and fibrous — sucked rather than chewed or processed for date paste. Remove from cluster when they fall.
Queen palm fruit on this tree and the one across the drive thru street at the restaurant. Taste like mangos and bananas. Really waxy - just need one every few hours. Pick up from the ground when bright yellow orange.
