Birch
On the right side of Dunfield Creek Trail, after the trail crosses the creek on the East side of the trail, grows Betual Lenta (Black Birch). This is the source to make Birch Beer. The young twigs can be chewed, then used as a toothbrush. This is part of the national park system.
