🔍 When is it ripe?
Deep purple-black when ripe; intensely flavoured and juicy. Spread a tarp and shake the tree — ripe fruits fall immediately. Stains everything permanently — wear old clothes. Do not pick unripe red berries (mildly hallucinogenic).
Mulberries dropping all over sidewalk from roadside tree. Didn’t stop to pick any so exact location might be off by a bit. Looks like there is a business car park just behind it that you could probably park in so you could pick them.
