🔍 When is it ripe?
Red to yellow, about 2 cm across. Tart-sweet when ripe; flesh softens and the fruit falls readily. Good raw or cooked. Watch for early drop — often ready by mid-August.
Several Plum trees in median grass between Jason's Deli parking lot, and sidewalk. I've seen these plums in years past go to the crows... Get there before the birds...
