🔍 When is it ripe?
Background colour changes from green to yellow or cream (variety determines final colour). Seeds inside should be brown. Flesh yields slightly to thumb pressure. A ripe apple releases with a gentle upward twist — no pulling. Check the ground for natural drops.
Old tree with low yield and many dead branches, but delightful, sweet and flavorful fruit. Apples are greeny-yellow, with medium-soft flesh. Need to bring a picker to access most fruit as the lower branches are dead.
