🔍 When is it ripe?
Berries fully coloured and slightly soft. Stem where it joins the bunch turns woody and brown. Seeds easily visible inside. Sweet throughout when fully ripe — taste from different parts of the cluster as they ripen unevenly. Grapes do not continue ripening after harvest.
Old Project Light Community Garden is still a vacant lot as of Spring 2013. Harvested over 20 pounds of grapes from the vines in 2012. Multiple varieties of grapes, some with seeds...all super delicious. As long as the site is undeveloped, also likely to find volunteer garlic, herbs, greens, etc.
