🔍 When is it ripe?
Unlike apples, pears ripen from the inside out. Harvest when the skin colour lightens and the fruit separates with a gentle upward twist. Ripen off the tree at room temperature — leave on a counter until the neck yields to thumb pressure.
I have a picker and ladder available. Knock on the front door BEFORE TWO PM to borrow them.
The tree has not been sprayed, so some of the fruit is buggy and/or ugly.
