American plum
📍 55 East 200 North, Logan, UT 84321, USA
🗓 Season: August · September
🔍 When is it ripe?
Red to yellow, about 2 cm across. Tart-sweet when ripe; flesh softens and the fruit falls readily. Good raw or cooked. Watch for early drop — often ready by mid-August.
I don't really know what kind of plum trees these are but they line the street across from my office at Bank of Utah and I pick them every summer. They are delicious and there are several of them.
