🔍 When is it ripe?
Pick when background colour shifts from green to yellow-green and the stem separates cleanly. Finish ripening indoors — flesh near the stem should give slightly when pressed.
Pear tree in parking lot of apartment complex. Nobody really cared that we were picking, some apartment residents came out to say hi.
