🔍 When is it ripe?
Green coconuts (5–7 months): full of sweet coconut water. Brown coconuts (12 months): drier, rich flesh. Ripe when the husk turns brown and the nut sounds hollow when tapped. Shake — liquid should slosh inside.
A number of heavily fruiting coconut palms are in the "Heritage Garden". The position of the marker may be a little off---google orthoimagery predates the construction of this massive park :P. There are probably many more edible species in the "Gardens by the Bay", but they weren't fruiting on my visit, or I didn't notice them. Please feel free to add any others you know of...
