🔍 When is it ripe?
Small apples ripen from green to red, yellow, or orange by variety. Very tart raw but excellent for jelly and cider. Ripe when the colour is fully developed and the fruit lifts off with a gentle twist.
3 crab-apple trees on Shoe Carnival's lawn. Private property but I'm sure Shoe Carnival doesn't care about you taking some crab-apple. Don't break the branches and/or harm the tree. Don't be greedy either.
