🔍 When is it ripe?
Must be fully ripe (very soft, almost jelly-like) before eating. Harvest after first frost or when naturally falling. Dark orange to purple when ready. Rich, caramel-sweet flavour.
American persimmon near fence between Wilmington Brewing Company and the Venue parking lots. A little scraggly because it's up against a chain link fence/doesn't have a lot of space, but is producing fruit.
