🔍 When is it ripe?
Golden-orange colour all over; red blush is fine but green means unripe. Gives slightly under thumb pressure and separates cleanly from the pit. Sweet, floral aroma. Short window — harvest daily once they start colouring.
There is an apricot tree on the corner of Fell and Florence. The house where it is seems to pick them when fall comes around, but some remain and are delicious.
