🔍 When is it ripe?
Harvest leaves just before flowering for peak flavour. Cut stems back by a third regularly to encourage bushy growth. Flavour declines after flowering — cut flower spikes off to extend harvest.
Community garden. Don't pick from plots, but in the center circle there is an oregano bush, along the back fences there are berries, and untended mint, lemon balm, and wild onions grow throughout.
