🔍 When is it ripe?
Large, yellow to pale orange. Heavy for its size; skin slightly smooth rather than puffy. Can hang on the tree for months once coloured. Taste is the best test — should be sweet-tart, not bitter.
A tub filled with grapefruit marked 'free' has been placed on the nature strip outside this property (as of 18/9/21). Will check to see if this continues.
