🔍 When is it ripe?
Green husks turn brown and split; nuts drop naturally. Gather promptly before wildlife. Kernels should be plump and cream-coloured. Dry before storing.
In the middle of our corn/soy field. My dad would always pick nuts off of this tree. Produces good nuts every 3 years or so, and I think that this year will be a good year.
