There are a bunch of Turk's Cap (Malvaviscus arboreus) plants under a tree that is on the edge of the Walnut Hill recreation center (city of Dallas public property) facing Midway Road. As of May 2015, the plants were still there. If you look on google street view, they won't be shown there because that part was under construction when they took the picture. You can see it from the edge of Midway Road as you approach the Walnut Hill Lane stop light. The Turk's Caps are on public property, but meant to be for aesthetic purposes, so please don't take too many!
