Ripe when fully coloured (white, red, or black by species) and falls at a touch. Spread a sheet and shake the branches. Extremely perishable — process or eat immediately.
a small mullberry tree that has begun fruiting. It is still on what I believe is Truman's property, so I don't think it's an issue to harvest. It's accessible from the sidewalk.
