🔍 When is it ripe?
Small, round, turning from red to deep purple-black. Sweet and blueberry-like when fully dark. Birds eat them as soon as they ripen — check daily. Best fresh or in pies and jam.
Very large serviceberry tree in the corner of the parking lot, right in front of the ‘WorldPAC’ door. Berries were all past ripe in mid June.
