🔍 When is it ripe?
Classic Bartlett: skin turns yellow-green from green. Harvest when the neck near the stem gives to light pressure. Ripens off the tree in 4–7 days at room temperature.
35 year old tree that needs pruning. Branches reach over the fence at the corner of the property. Squirrels get most of the pears. If you can Salvage any, they’re sweet.
