🔍 When is it ripe?
Deep red (or gold/yellow for golden varieties) and slides off the receptacle — the hollow centre is the tell. Does not pull: a ripe raspberry separates at a touch. Extremely fragile; use within hours of picking.
About 50m2 patch of raspberries, come early July. In 2023 we collected enough raspberries for seven kilograms of jam.
Not sure about marker placement but get on the forest path coming from Polmadie side, that goes alongside the tracks and the fence, until you can't any more because the road bends. The raspberries are there.
The wood also has apple trees and hazels but never collected those.
