🔍 When is it ripe?
Turns red, yellow, or purple depending on variety; flesh gives slightly under thumb pressure. Taste-test — ripe ones are sweet-tart with little astringency. Drops easily from stem when gently twisted.
Lots of trees on this street, ripe now. Easiest picking is at the Jane Frankiln centre but there are also trees on the corner of Davey Street and Elboden Street.
