🔍 When is it ripe?
Background colour changes from green to yellow or cream (variety determines final colour). Seeds inside should be brown. Flesh yields slightly to thumb pressure. A ripe apple releases with a gentle upward twist — no pulling. Check the ground for natural drops.
Approx 100 yards north of the junction of Willow Creek Trail and C470 Trail, on the east side, towards the creek, between County Line and 470. Spotted from the bike trail mid-July 2018 with apples.
