🔍 When is it ripe?
Bright red and detaches from the core plug with no resistance. Fragrant and very soft when ripe. Autumn-fruiting varieties produce a second flush in September–October.
The Wood St. Garden near Bates college owned by St. Mary's Nutrition Center. There are black raspberries and red raspberries that appear annually here in the summer.
