🔍 When is it ripe?
Small, oval, dark blue-purple. Intensely tart raw — best after first frost or for cooking. Fully ripe when skin darkens completely and fruit gives to pressure. Excellent for jam and gin.
Most easily accessible via Dusetu street, passing the house Nr. 13, then turning left at the end of the street. There usually are some dogs barking on nearby private properties, but they are behind the fence, nothing to be afraid of. The road and the path is on public land. The tree has some issues with snails, but the fruit is healthy and plentiful.
