🔍 When is it ripe?
Small, round, turning from red to deep purple-black. Sweet and blueberry-like when fully dark. Birds eat them as soon as they ripen — check daily. Best fresh or in pies and jam.
Serviceberry planted all over this dutch. However BIG PROBLEM, ALL the fruit has FUNGUS growing on it because of Cyprus that were planted next to them.
When they chop down those cyprus, that probally when you will be able to get excellent fruit to eat in June.
