Classic Bartlett: skin turns yellow-green from green. Harvest when the neck near the stem gives to light pressure. Ripens off the tree in 4–7 days at room temperature.
Pear tree overhangs public walkway and often drops a lot of fruit onto the pathway during the fall months.
