Sweetbriar rose

Sweetbriar rose Public
First things first, I'm reasonably sure that the majority of these roses are Sweetbriar and not Rugosa, although there appeared to be a few different varieties. See the attached image for a better idea. There are the roses that I've pictured, as well as a variety that flowers white with five petals, and another variety that appears to have six or seven petals. There is a large stretch of these rose bushes between the rail road tracks and the parking lot for the senior center. It should also be noted that by October 12th, 2016, most of the rose hips were already shriveled and brown.
