fruit is edible when dark. Leaves they make into tea. This purple one produces fruit that's not as great tasting as a yellow-red flowered one, but it'll do if you're hungry. You can even make jam with them - they taste so nice - like how they smell but more boysenberry-like sometimes. Got to crawl towards the back to make it.
