🔍 When is it ripe?
Golden-orange colour all over; red blush is fine but green means unripe. Gives slightly under thumb pressure and separates cleanly from the pit. Sweet, floral aroma. Short window — harvest daily once they start colouring.
Huge old apricot tree with great yield. Sweet, small, very slightly mealy fruit. Fruits every even year.
This used to be in an open lot on the corner of wedbee and the E-W running alley between laurel and plum. In 2013 they built a house on the lot, and pruned the tree considerably but left it alive.
