Callery pear

Callery pear
These march down the north-west side of Pearl from around Smith Rd to I-71. There are a few different trees near the major intersections, will try to mark at a later date. These trees for the most part will mark when your in Middleburg Heights while on Pearl. As far as my research has shown, these trees have absolutely no edible, medicinal or good crafting use. They are planted purely for aesthetics, and are more environmental hazard than help. The branches are weak and will break easier in storms. Also, while they themselves cannot seed, they can cross-breed with relative trees and make invasive hybrids. Just do an internet search for "Callery Pear Invasive" for the details. If at all possible, please don't plant any more of these! Ask the city to stop planting more of these!
