Muscadine

📍 203 Strathburgh Ln, Cary, NC 27518, USA
Muscadine Public
🗓 Season: August · September · October
🔍 When is it ripe?
Large, bronze or purple berries; thick skin. Ripe when fully coloured and falls freely from the vine with a shake. Very sweet and musky; thick skin usually discarded. Harvest by shaking clusters over a bucket.
Pretty sure these are muscadine (have verified they are grapes, multiple seeds). They line the edge of the woods from spartacus circle going back towards the greenway and down the greenway. They are pretty high up, but fall on grass below so they don't get that damaged.
