Grape

Grape Private
🗓 Season: August · September · October
🔍 When is it ripe?
Berries fully coloured and slightly soft. Stem where it joins the bunch turns woody and brown. Seeds easily visible inside. Sweet throughout when fully ripe — taste from different parts of the cluster as they ripen unevenly. Grapes do not continue ripening after harvest.
These grape vines have been growing here for several decades. The family who lives here is from Italy, and the father of the house used to press grapes to make wine. After pressing some store-bought grapes, he threw out the old skins and seeds in the yard instead of throwing them in the trash, and that's when these vines popped up. He used to make wine with these grapes every year.
