White mulberry

📍 The Embrace, 139 Tremont St, Boston, MA 02108, USA
White mulberry Public
🗓 Season: May · June · July
🔍 When is it ripe?
White to pale pink or lavender when ripe. Very sweet and mild. Falls from the tree when ripe — spread a sheet below and shake. Extremely delicate; eat within hours. Ripe berries stain less than black mulberry but deteriorate even faster.
It might not be this exact location - my GPS was kind of fritzy. It's in one of these adjacent grass areas, south of Frog Pond and north of the gazebo/Attucks memorial. No branches that kids can reach but some at adult eye level.
