🔍 When is it ripe?
Ripe when fully coloured (white, red, or black by species) and falls at a touch. Spread a sheet and shake the branches. Extremely perishable — process or eat immediately.
Growing in the ditch between an apartment complex and the atm drive throughs. The city (?) cuts them back periodically but i have enjoyed easy access snacking in the spring for several years now.
