Fragrant at the stem end; yields to gentle pressure. Colour varies by variety. Ripe when fragrant and slightly soft throughout.
Two large mango trees dropping fruit all over the place in the front yard and on the side walk. I wouldn't go into their private yard to retrieve the mangoes but driveway and side walk. I'm sure if you ask the household they're fine with you picking some. Just have a very long stick with a tiny hook on the end as these trees are extremely large!
