🔍 When is it ripe?
Clusters of orange-yellow fruit; ripe when fully orange with no green, yields to gentle pressure, and comes off the stem with a slight tug. Very sweet and aromatic when right — mealy if overripe. Short shelf life after picking.
Tree is in "tree lawn" between parking area and public sidewalk. Tree hangs over sidewalk allowing for easy public access. I went inside building and asked if I could take fruit from parking lot side of tree too and they said yes of course.
