🔍 When is it ripe?
Small, orange to yellow fruits in large bunches near the base of fronds. Ripe when fully orange and falls freely. Flavour is apricot and pineapple; very high in pectin — excellent jelly. Short window in summer.
4-5 Pindo palms in front of Exxon. Pindo palm produces edible fruit, but can be fiberous. Good for jam.
