🔍 When is it ripe?
Deep red to purple-black when fully ripe. Falls naturally. Tart-sweet flavour. Spread cloth below and shake. Stains permanently.
Small mulberry tree on West side of street, about halfway between Parkside Ave and Maplewood Ave on Cottage St. Entire plant is outside of owner's fence and overhangs the road. Some branches challenged by vines.
