Several mature enormous bur oak trees. 1-2 cm acorns capped in a woolly appearing crown that covers most of the acorn with little insect competition. Easy to pick up right from the paths. I collected 7 lbs of acorns during 2 lunch hours in Oct 2019. In a public thoroughfare, which keeps the hungry squirrels from getting the fallen acorns by the paths.
