🔍 When is it ripe?
Unlike apples, pears ripen from the inside out. Harvest when the skin colour lightens and the fruit separates with a gentle upward twist. Ripen off the tree at room temperature — leave on a counter until the neck yields to thumb pressure.
ENG: Three pear trees are growing in the ditch but overhang the path. I recommend gathering fruits from the ground at the edge of the ditch. Fruits are tiny but tasty, a bit sweet and tart.
PL: Trzy grusze rosną obok siebie w rowie, część gałęzi zwiesza się nad ścieżką. Polecam zbierać z ziemi nad rowem. Owoce malutkie ale smaczne, dość słodkie i cierpkie.
