🔍 When is it ripe?
Background skin colour shifts from green toward yellow; seeds turn brown when ripe. Fruit separates from the spur with a gentle upward twist. Aroma develops near the base. Wild Malus fruit is often small and tart — excellent for cider and jelly.
Small row of apple trees. Real, full-sized apples. Nice crunchy texture and sweet. Minimal blemishes.
Trees are growing on north side of Ste-Genevieve church parking lot. You'll need a ladder to reach the high ones.
