🔍 When is it ripe?
Red or black (Aronia) berries. Very astringent and tart raw — high in antioxidants. Best dried, juiced, or made into jam. Ripe when fully coloured and slightly soft.
We found several Chokecherry and Elderberry trees through this entire road.
