🔍 When is it ripe?
Deep red to purple-black when fully ripe. Falls naturally. Tart-sweet flavour. Spread cloth below and shake. Stains permanently.
Medium-sized, productive mulberry tree located on the lower terrace on the east side of Old North Durham park. It is growing immediately below the second terrace, so harvesting is a breeze. Walk along the footpath between the Accordion Club and apartment complex on Trinity to reach it.
