The cranberry bog is within Parker River National Wildlife Refuge and is closed to the public, but this seems largely unenforced. The refuge also gives out annual picking permits to a limited number of individuals. Access by parking in Lot 2 along Refuge Road and taking the dirt road from either the road or from the beach (see OSM map)
