🔍 When is it ripe?
Hangs heavily and droops at the neck; skin softens and may split. A sweet drop of nectar at the base eye and the absence of white sap at the stem confirm ripeness. Pick with a gentle twist.
Fig tree at Arneson Garden across the street from Wilco, Near Fred Meyer. The tree is tall, fruit is hard to reach, big tree, public space. Fruit was ripe Sept 2021. Possible brown turkey fig?
