🔍 When is it ripe?
Green outer husk splits and darkens; nuts fall or shake loose. Remove husks immediately and cure for 2 weeks to develop full flavour. Gloves prevent staining.
Brookside park, several walnut trees available and in good health, the area is pretty well populated during the day with lots of families, students, dogs etc. at night it gets a little dark.
